Was going to skip this gig cause I'd bought tics for Neil Young the same week, but thought what the hell, I'm not getting any younger and am I glad I did!
On the drive in I was clicking through my Dylan mp3's and cranked it when Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat started. Thought it would be cool if it was on the set list and man when he stepped out, put on the guitar and started in playing that tune I was in heaven. 'Honey can I jump on it some time?' You bet you can. Let's all jump on it together.
Times was OK but Things have changed was a special treat. Find myself repeating that song 3/4 times when I'm on the road. Loved it. Fantastic Levee's Gonna Break. Great Band with Bob right now. I've driven Highway 61 and sang along with the master as he played it. I'm pumped!
To actually hear Visions and Desolation Row on the same night was awesome. Now all I need is to catch him doing Sad Eyed Lady somewhere/sometime and I'm money. Should I wait?
Bought the Thunder on the Mountain T-Shirt and rocked along as they nailed it. Thanks Bob Dylan and Band for stopping by. See ya next year! (Should I wait?)
I'll let you be in my dream if I can be in yours.
Vancouver concert
Truly an awesome event! I was fortunate and blessed to attend. I was able to purchase a ticket the day of the concert and had a great seat it was truly "in the stars" that I was able to celebrate a milestone birthday with the master Bob Dylan and his band. He is "Forever Young". It was the best concert I ever attended! Bob's stage presence compliments his music his harmonica and vocie opened my soul and filled me with gratitude, humbleness and much joy. Thanks for sharing your soul with all of us.
Wow! This was my second time
Wow! This was my second time seeing Bob and the group, and they were even better this time around! Bob had lots of energy and seemed to really be enjoying himself. The newer songs were flawless, and his arrangements of Visions of Johanna, Desolation Row and It's Alright Ma were intense and brought new life into what were already masterpieces. The whole night was truly spiritual experience!
As good as Bobby's been to us, again!
April 9, 1965, Dylan’s first performance in Western Canada, at Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver. I was there. I was 18 years old. Last night, October 24, 2008, Bobby played General Motors Place in Vancouver. I was there again, just as I have always been with this man – even before that first time in ‘65. My youngest son, Matt, was with me last night. It was his fourth Dylan concert. We were front row centre! – looking right across to “the greatest living user of the English language,” a poet of the calibre of any of the Great Ones who have ever lived and, for my money, for my soul, Bob Dylan is the very greatest. My son and I agreed that last night’s show was the best Dylan concert my son had ever attended, and I feel it was the best I had been to in many years. “Thank you Bob Dylan for your passion, playfulness, wicked music, everlasting poetry and pure truth.” You bet – absolutely! “God is in his heaven,” Bobby is in our hearts, and the connection between all is awesomely intimate, indeed! It was time and place out of mind, out of sight, last night – pure truth, pure beauty, pure delight! Awesome!
Superb Evening
Drove up from Seattle to see this show. Dylan and band musicians were unbelievably good. Total high energy professional performance. Seeing Dylan is one of the 100 (or 1000, whatever) things you gotta do before you die.

I think everybody was there, 17 to 70+. It was an amazing evening and very much enjoyed. It was so wonderful to see that Bob Dylan is still able to touch so many people.
In these present troubled times his music endures and is a constant.
I hope that he, too, considered this to have been a successful evening.
Continue with your Tour safely, Bob Dylan and your Band.

Amazing, Wonderful ...Once in a lifetime experience!
Thank you Bob Dylan for your passion, playfulness, wicked music, everlasting poetry and pure truth. I wanted to pick a favorite but I just can't because every song last night kicked ass from keyboard/organ to guitar to harmonica to singing! 2hrs + encore....
"You think I'm over the hill
You think I'm past my prime
Let me see what you got
We can have a whoppin' good time "
Oh ya we had a whopping good time! Let's make it a twice in a lifetime experience! Come back soon!

Best damn concert I've ever been to. It'll keep me high for several weeks at least. Next time I'll pay the extra dough to be near the front. It was incredible!!! No horsing around or goofing off - non-stop music for 2 hours and then a 20 minute encore. Soooo great! This guy rocks even better than when he was young. Love ya even more, Bobby!
