Loved it!
Had a great time! Bob is always creating and its exciting to be part of the moment... My favorite was Tryin' to get to Heaven.
!!
Million Miles was AMAZING!!!
Stage Set-up
I must have good Bob karma - as I always end up sitting on the side he's facing when playing keyboards - last time he was on the other side of the stage and I was on the other side of the arena.
I felt sorry for those he had his back to most of the night though.
Also wish he'd play more guitar and less keyboards.
But it's Bob - he can do what he wants I guess!
Enjoyed it - BUT - AWFUL MIX!!!
Being in the same room as Bob Dylan is always a treat.
However - whoever mixed sound last night should be FIRED!!!! The sound was TERRIBLE - little bottom end and the lead guitar just shrieked!! Was painful to the ears. I had good seats too. I go to many concerts every year and that was by far the worst mix I have EVER heard at the SaddleDome! I ran into some friends that went and they were saying the same - so it wasn't just me.
Also - the band seemed out of time at times - and the lead player was a bit of a chimp - not the greatest chops.
Bob was great though - really enjoyed seeing him again.
Bob in Cow Town
I've had the pleasure to have seen Bob several times over the last 15 years. It never ceases to amaze me how he manages to inject new life into each song with every rendition. Monday night’s show at the dome was no exception. Bob plays with the cadence and pitch of his signing to give new life with each performance. The newer material was played the best. Million Miles was particularly great. Bob played guitar for Just Like a Woman, and I have to admit I wish he played guitar a little more and a little less keyboards. Keep up the great work!
My first Bob Dylan concert!!
I thought the show was fantastic! I have been to more high energy concerts but this one is on its own level. I have seen my idol in the flesh (in 2nd row on the floor too :D ) and was at total peace the whole time. I loved his swagger and "dance moves' he did every now and then. He def. got into the groove of things 1/3 into the show. The bassist sort of creeped m e out though lol. I hope he has it in him to do one or two more concerts and come back here. I loved it. Thought the security woman who was trying to stop us from taking photos was lame. But i got some anyway so HA! lol.
calgary
A nicely played show. I liked the way that the background sheet went from all black to looking like falling stars(grains of sand). The band starts noodling with Every Grain Of Sand into
The Times They Are A Changin' and finally settling on Just Like A Woman. Bob was on guitaso what else could be better?

Didn't want it to end!
Excellent and entertaining concert! Dylan was into the performance tonight...he appeared to be enjoying himself! Saw him in '74 and he was much more reserved. His voice warmed up as the evening went on and the guitar came out for Just Like a Woman, very nice. It was fabulous to see him again! What I really like is that Dylan's concerts are not an oldies review...he is continuing to create some great stuff.
I thought it was a great
I thought it was a great concert. The band is tight and unbelievable. Bob's voice has thickened over time but he still is capable of putting on a great performance. In fact, he was more animated than when I saw him 20 years ago. All around great show.
