Thank you Bob!
Amazing, one of the best nights of my life. The reworked versions of the old songs fit in perfectly with the newer stuff, and it was great to see Bob roaming around on harmonica. Felt very intimate and the band sounded great together. Blind Willie McTell was a nice surprise, and Watchtower stands out as a highlight. COME BACK SOON!

Don't Think Twice brought tears to my eyes. Awesome night. Every song was familiar and totally new, as though a master goldsmith had melted down his best pieces and created a new work of art out of each one. Dylan's voice was less a vehicle for transmitting lyrics, more a harmonious (yes, seems odd to say that about his voice) instrument uniting the whole band.
Another World
WOW!
Am in total awe. What a night. I experienced everything from confusion to immersion and being lost and being part of. I think Bob Dylan created a new dimension of interpretation of his songs. You got me.... I love it ! wish I could follow the tour and experience it all over and over again.
Sault Ste. Marie
The Sault should be honored to have such an icon play the Essar Center. I was accompanied by my daughter who just turned 18 yesterday, and she too was in awe of Bob Dylan and his band. Also saw Bob Dylan at the ACC in Toronto, and the smaller venue (Sault) was much better acoustically. Looking forward to seeing him again this Thursday in Sudbury. Northern Ontario Loves You! Come back soon!

I saw Dylan in Ypsy and I've seen him a lot of times. He sees me but he doesn't. He feels me cause I've got something of his which I would like to give back to him. Do I sound just like a complete wackoo? It's all on the subtle plane.
gazing out the window
it took 'along the watchtower' to get the seated Sault on their collective feet & managed to remain there through the final encore, 'blowin'in the wind'.
with bob, les is always more. in this jaded age, a shift of key or a nod speaks easy, if we could only hear or see.
for me it was blind willie mctell, an undercurrent of tony's bass and bob's layered lyrics. "nobody can sing the blues...gazing out the window..."
or perhaps it was 'thunder on the mountain' or 'stuck inside of mobile'(insert your town here). a subtle raise of the eyebrown with "wonder what price/going through all these things twice"
or in bob's guitar case it's thousands, (don't think twice).
how do you make it new each time? that's the big question. it was answered in the wind again last snowy nite on this side of the borderline.
wouldn't change a thing...
This was my first time seeing the great man...and I have to say, he was much more than I expected. The man has power in him...it shines through in his unassuming performance. He played a mix of new and old, and even the old was made new again with fresh approaches all the way through.
I certainly would take any opportunity to see him again and again..
History happens in the Sault
What a great concert I was privileged to see tonight. Dylan gave a memorable rendition of his songs backed by one of the best group of musicians I've seen in a long time. If you're expecting the studio version of Dylan, you may be disappointed, but if you're going to experience one of the greats of music, you're in for a great time. This was my first time seeing Bob in concert and hope to get the opportunity to do this again. I was however disappointed with the few people I saw leaving half way through. For them, I can only say open your minds and appreciate the man for what he has contributed to music and what his message was and still is.
